Farmer Panel on Soil Health
In late 2020 the Kansas Rural Center (KRC) conducted a survey on the soil health practices used by farmers in Kansas, as well as their attitudes toward policy initiatives that would support increasing these practices.  KRC created a report of the survey results, meant to inform legislators about the opinions and concerns of farmers regarding soil health.

To facilitate Kansas legislators hearing directly from farmers KRC is hosting a Farmer Panel on Soil Health on March 17th from 12pm-1pm during WEALTH Days.  Here farmers will convey the information that they feel is important about soil health and what, if anything, the Kansas government or other entities can do to help promote and preserve healthy soils in our state.

We hope you join us!
