Mattie Bell is currently one of three hub coordinators for the local Sunrise Movement hub in Lawrence. They have a passion for Environmental, Housing, and Racial Justice, and work hard to support those values. Mattie graduated from the Evergreen State College in 2017 and spent two years in AmeriCorps programs doing direct service work in the American South. When COVID-19 hit, they returned home Lawrence to be close to family and work towards stopping climate change through the Sunrise Movement.
